FAQs

The list of FAQs below is ever expanding but if there is anything that isn’t covered then please reach out to be here.

  1. Where are you based? – I’m based in Havant, Hampshire
  2. Are you a shop? – No, I work out of my workshop at home
  3. Is my guitar insured when it’s with you? – Yes indeed.
  4. How long does one of your setups take? – It depends but I aim to turnaround all work within three to four weeks.
  5. I have an urgent job that needs doing before a gig tonight! Can you help? – Reach out to me here. If I can, I will.
  6. Do you take card or cash? – Both. If you’d like to pay by card then I can send you an invoice from our banking app which you can then pay online. You can also pay by bank transfer too, just ask me for my bank details.
  7. I get paid at the end of the month. Is it ok for me to leave my guitar with you? – Yes, absolutely.
  8. Can I ship my guitar to you? Yes, and many people do from all over the UK (and some from overseas). Please ensure it’s well packaged. I’ll let you know the costs involved with shipping back at the time of booking.
  9. When do I pay? Once the work is complete and either before collection or when collecting.
  10. Do you play guitar? I try to. Sometimes I gig as well but that’s a whole different story.
  11. Do you offer any sort of after-care? – Very much so! If there’s something you’d like changing once you’ve got your guitar home and played it then I’ll happily do that free of charge and very often while you wait.
  12. What happens if I don’t collect my guitar and don’t respond to any emails you send me? – I’ll either keep the guitar or sell it to recover costs. Communicate with me though, there isn’t anything we can’t work out :o)
  13. Do you have any photos of your work? – I’ll be adding a gallery to this website at some point so watch this space.
  14. Do I need to bring my guitar in a case? – Yes, please. I can’t accept guitars that are not cased, I’m afraid.
